How do you remove the "noreply@salesforce.com; on behalf of" in an email?”

We get asked pretty regularly the question “How do you remove the "noreply@salesforce.com; on behalf of" in an email?” so we figured we would write a quick post.

With system administrator privileges you need to go to Setup and under Email Administration | Deliverability, uncheck Enable Sender ID compliance. That should take care of the issue.
